Debating Guides
This material is provided for anyone interested in improving their debating. Some is written for students new to debating, some is written for teachers and debating coaches, some is written for experienced debaters wanting to learn about new styles of debating.
Some of this material is a little dated, but it is still comprehensive and can be useful for first time debaters. We encourage participants to ask their ACTDU adjudicators and coaches for clarification to the extent that any of this material or feedback might be contradictory or confusing.
We hope they prove useful and we welcome any reproduction of these materials, provided that any named authors and the ACT Debating Union receive appropriate attribution.
